ASP Hosting Flexible Developing

Sunday, August 29th, 2010

web hosting Basically ASP can produce the functions provided by other programming languages like php, but there are also many differences which make ASP much better. ASP is the first product of Microsoft which is connected with the creation of dynamically generated web pages and servers. At first ASP came as an add-on to the Internet Information Services, but later on after its potential to be one of the leading developing languages was spotted it became an inevitable part of the Windows 2000 Server. One of those languages is ASP. ASP stands for Active Server Pages. ASP can help you improve you web page to whole new levels by making it more functional and interesting. Of course ASP needs a Windows environment on which to run. However that environment isn’t offered by any hosting – that’s why you need a specified service if you want to create an ASP webpage, and the name of that service is ASP hosting. web hosting web hosting

The Mystery of a Virtual Private Server (vps)

Monday, July 12th, 2010

vps It is more than a shared server and less than a dedicated server. A VPS simply put is, a server that runs inside another server. Each VPS looks, feels, and acts like a dedicated server but shares the same hardware. Think of it as a multi-tenant dwelling or luxury condo. Each apartment has it’s own private entry, locks, electric, plumbing, bathrooms, kitchen and storage area within the same larger space. There are a several companies that offer this product, such as Sphera, Ensim, and an open source project called FreeVSD. While Ensim and Sphera do not actually host anything themselves, they license their technology to many hosting companies around the world. Since my background is with Ensim I will be discussing this here.

Ensim Instant Server Technology allows a hosting provider to slice up a physical server into virtual or “private,” systems. Each private server has it’s own unique file system, disk space, user space (including virtual root), process space, CPU, bandwidth, and memory allocations:

Performance Isolation: Heavy traffic or CPU load has no affect on other private servers on the same box, but there are limits on CPU, Memory, and Process.

Choosing and Selecting Domain Names

Thursday, July 8th, 2010

Domain name Like any brand name, logo, or trademark, your domain name represents part of your business identity. Customers will associate it with your particular product, service, company and so on, if you name it correctly. Remember that your domain name will probably be used for several purposes, including your web site, email address, and possibly an ftp or other server. It will be an integral part of your marketing campaign.

If your domain name can be easily remembered then you will attract more customers. People will use your web site or email address to get immediate and convenient access to the information or service that you are providing.

Domain names are portable. You can move physical address, change phone numbers, change Internet service providers, change the company that hosts your web site, and still keep the same domain name. This provides an extremely flexible method of keeping in touch with your customers and users.

How to Choose the Web Hosting (โฮสติ้ง)

Wednesday, June 30th, 2010

โฮสติ้ง One of the most crucial decisions that most online businesses have to make is choosing the best web hosting service. With a popular or well known and reliable Internet Service Provider (ISP) you won’t face many problems, however with a poor web hosting service provider it can be a nightmare.

Choosing the right kind of web hosting service can be a very daunting task at times as there are some very important features that you need to make sure of. Here you can find below what exactly to look for when choosing the best web hosting service.

Amount of web space: A web hosting service provider would usually assign you a certain amount of space on their server. You need to ensure that does it have the right amount of space for your website and your business requirements. You might want to expand your online business tomorrow and would require much more space. So it’s imperative for you that the web hosting company should be able to provide you with ample of space especially if your website is rich in graphics or has video clips.

FTP access: FTP access is very crucial since it provides the ability to upload new pages. Some web hosting service providers allow you to just design your web pages with their own personal web builder. This may be useful for beginners however you need to ensure if they provide you the facility to expand later when you enhance your online business capabilities.

The Host (hosting) Advice for a New Business

Friday, June 18th, 2010

Host Choosing the best web hosting provider is an important decision. For small businesses it can be a difficult one with many things to consider, such as the hosting requirements and the all important price. It is especially difficult for new businesses as they don’t necessarily know how many visitors their website will generate, and therefore the bandwidth they will require.

It is a good idea to opt for a cheap hosting package to begin with for the obvious reasons. Your income may not be particularly high as a start up business so you don’t want to be forking out high fees for a hosting package you don’t yet require. You don’t want a large outlay if not necessary so it is best to be a little cautious. host
